A magical place to stay the more so if you have a room overlooking the sea. The room was superbly situated with a commanding view over ramparts, sea, and off-shore islands. Wonderful atmosphere. The hotel could not have been better located, perfect for exploration of the "old" town and very convenient for the ferry. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel.
